Dorothy F. Giles, age 85, of North Versailles, died November 13, 2016, at home. Born July 22, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Mish) Zoller and the wife of the late George Giles.
Dorothy had retired as a sales clerk from Cooper’s Animal Supply. She attended the Prayer Time Cathedral in White Oak. Dorothy loved going to the casino, playing the lottery, shopping and dinners out.

Anna Warhola was a unique individual who accomplished much in her rich life of 92 years. Born in Jamestown, New York in 1924 to the late George and Ann Lemak, she was the first of six children who were born in Pittsburgh in the Greenfield area. Being the oldest child, she had the most responsibility to take care of all of her siblings and at the same time start work outside of the house to help pay expenses. It was the Great Depression so cleaning houses for a dollar was good solid work.

Edward Ratesic, age 83 of McKeesport, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Concordia of Monroeville. Born January 17, 1933 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Valent and Mary (Lakovic) Ratesic and loving husband of Margaret Marie (Walker) Ratesic for 61 years. Following high school, Edward began working for US Steel National Tube Works as a millwright. He later served as the financial secretary and retired from US Steel as the Vice President of the National Tube Local Union 1408 after more than 35 years of service. In his free time, he was active in numerous clubs and organizations, including the 11th Ward Club in Christy Park where he enjoyed playing cards with his fellow members. He also devoted his time as a baseball coach for the McKeesport Pony League, and was an avid bowler, belonging to many leagues over the years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Edward R. (Cynthia) Ratesic of South Park, Daniel (Laurie) Ratesic of Monroeville and Wayne M. (Katie) Ratesic of Plum Boro.; grandchildren, Brittany Ratesic, Kelsey (Ben) Wardrop, Lindsay Ratesic, Abigail (Christopher) Thompson, Jamie Ratesic and Mallory Ratesic; great-grandson, C.J. Thompson; sisters, Helen Moss and Mildred Osika; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, George and John Ratesic and sisters, Mary Figel and Margaret Tomco. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church. Kyle Petty, age 21, of McKeesport, died Nov. 8th, 2106, at UPMC Mercy. Born Aug. 3, 1995, in McKeesport, he was the son of Shawn and Karri (Mask) Petty.
Kyle was a good son and a good friend. Everyone thought of him as their little brother. His daughter, Khyla, was his world.
In addition to his parents and daughter, survivors include his love and Khyla’s mother, Samantha Picone; siblings, Cori, Dashia, Raelynn, Shawn Jr., Daniel, Diaz, Shane, Tamara and Mariah; aunt, Krista Pettis and uncle, Robert Petty; cousins. Kyle was preceded in death by sister, Shawntae.
