Edwin R. Stumme, age 86 of North Huntingdon died March 10, 2016 at Riverside Nursing Center. He was born July 24, 1929 in North Versailles, a son of the late Theodore and Dorothy Kelly Stumme. Prior to his retirement in 1988, Edwin was employed by U.S. Steel Irwin Works. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in North Huntingdon. He also sang in the choir at St. John's Church for over 40 years, a member of the quartet group called the Overtones and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War .

William played for McKeesport in the 3rd season of the Little League Baseball World Series.

Marcia Mayer, age 72, of North Huntingdon, formerly of McKeesport, died March 9, 2016, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born July 27, 1943, in Hazelwood, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Sabo) Pieseski and the wife of Bernard Mayer, for 54 loving years.
Marcia was a retired home health nurses aide, working in private care. She enjoyed spending time with her husband exploring the bike trails of Pennsylvania and Maryland. She was a member of the former St. Peter’s Parish. Her greatest joy was caring for her loving grandchildren.

He was born March 19, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Henry and Eva Holjack Heckel. Prior to his retirement, Richard worked in law enforcement as chief of police for Penn Township in the 1950's, police officer for East Pittsburgh, Westinghouse Security, and a lab assistant for Westinghouse Research, Churchill, PA. Katherine Ann (Lowry) Swope, 94 of North Huntingdon was called home on Thursday March 3, 2016. Kate led a full and fun life. She loved belting her alto parts with her Sweet Adelines and being with her special friends "The Turtlelettes". Being an excellent seamstress, Kate made many of their performance costumes. She also loved to crochet, making cute outfits for babies all over Pittsburgh. Kate loved to travel spending summers in Stone Harbor, performing with her Sweet Adelines in London, and living in places such as Northern Michigan and Mexico on the Sea of Cortez. Kate was known for being witty, patriotic, having a 10 cent novel stash, and being an avid fan of her Pittsburgh sports teams.
