Shawn M. McGillis, 42, of North Huntingdon, formerly of the Somerset area, died Wednesday March 23, 2016. He was born April 2, 1973 in Jeannette, a son of Elaine R. (Auckerman) McGillis Winchester and the late Robert W. McGillis and was also preceded in death by his wife, Claire (Bennett) McGillis. Shawn was a graduate of Shanksville High School. He resided in Frederick, MD, for a number of years then in Martinsburg, WV, before returning to the area. He was a former technical engineer for 84 Lumber Co.; a member of First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, and enjoyed hunting.

Rose Campbell, age 88, of Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth, formerly of Christy Park, died March 23, 2016, at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. Born September 27, 1927, in Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Grace (Primerana) Costa and the wife of the late William Campbell for 60 loving years.
Rose retired from the McKeesport Area School District, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of the St. Patrick Parish, Christian Mother’s and the Christy Park Seniors. She enjoyed growing flowers and her own vegetables for cooking Sunday dinner, Holiday meals and for family gatherings. Rose loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Beatrice Ruszkoski, age 95 of Glassport, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016. She was born on November 4, 1920, the daughter of the late Jon and Barbara Sosa Sabol, and wife of the late Frank J. Ruszkoski. Beatrice is a member of the Queen of the Rosary Church and the PNA of Glassport. She spent over 50 years dancing with her husband at the Palisades in McKeesport. She enjoyed planting flowers, working in her garden and loved taking care of her family.
