 Lucy I. Roldan, 68 of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Rockville, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home. She was born in Quito, Ecuador, on August 21, 1953, to the late Alfredo and Ines (Moncayo) Roldan. She is survived by her brother John C. (Peggy) Roldan of Gaithersburg, Maryland, as well as her beloved dog. She enjoyed discussing politics via Facebook and her blog, as well as taking care of animals throughout her life. She also enjoyed attending services at Saint Thomas A’ Becket Roman Catholic Church.

Dennis R. “Denny” Ervin, 76 of Liberty Borough, formerly of North Versailles and Pitcairn, passed away on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022, at his home. He was born in Pittsburgh on May 5th, 1946, to the late Walter and Elizabeth Louise (Eves) Ervin. Dennis was the loving partner of 51 years to Shirley Smorey. He is survived by significant other Shirley Smorey, as well as sons Dennis Smorey of West Elizabeth and Shawn (Stephanie) Ervin of Penn Hills, and daughters Shannon (Howard) Morgan of Rostraver and Danette (Donald) Aber of West Elizabeth. Further survivors include brothers Glenn (Kathy) Ervin of Claridge and Scott Ervin of South Carolina. He is additionally survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog MinMin. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandson Matthew Morgan. He was a member of the Army, serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed being a cab driver, playing cards, watching Western movies, gambling, and spending time with his grandchildren. Michael “Mike” Harsmanka, Sr., 82 of Clairton, formerly of Silver Springs, MD, passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Jefferson Hospital. He was born in McKeesport onMay 18, 1940, to the late Wasel and Helena (Fedko) Harsmanka. Mike was the loving husband of 59 years to Pamela J. (Silbaugh) Harsmanka. He is survived by his wife Pamela, his son Michael (Monica Harcut) Harsmanka, Jr. of Waterford, CT, as well as daughters Michele (James) Bridges of Finleyville, Marla (Brinton) Goettel of Monongahela, Melissa (Jorge) Turbay of Clairton, and Marcy (Robert) McQuaide of Reserve Township. Further survivors include brothers Alex Harsmanka of CA, John Harsmanka of West Elizabeth, and sister Yena Ramos of Long Branch, NJ. Additional survivors include grandchildren Courtney (Daniel) Hayden of Belle Vernon, Hannah (Chad) Yerkey of Belle Vernon, Brinton (Lauren) Goettel of Pittsburgh, Morgan Goettel, McKenzie Goettel, Lydia Goettel, Abigail Goettel, all of Forward Township, Juliana Goettel and Sarah Bridges of Pittsburgh, and Suzanne Vareha of New Kensington. Great-grandchildren include Rebekah, Esther, Rachel, Danny, Brock, Ryley, and Ellie. Further survivors include many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by great-grandchild Elizabeth, brothers Adam and Charles Harsmanka, and sisters Natasha Kavic, Tana Siroki, and Stella DeRosa. He was a member of the Navy, active from 1959-1963, serving on the USS Boston and USS Springfield. He was also a member of the Miracle Ridge Baptist Church in Forward Township, as well as a 1960 graduate of Clairton High School. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, camping at Scottyland, football, being a carpenter for his grandchildren, watching Cowboy Western films, and completing word searches. He will be terribly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 1-4 P.M. at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. Margaret L. “Dolly” Tauber, 91 of White Oak, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born in Duquesne on April 12, 1931, to the late Michael and Anna (Petrick) Olexa. Dolly was the loving wife of 49 years to the late Richard E. Tauber, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, brother Michael Olexa, Jr., sisters Anna Suhoski, Helen Dandar, and Mary Marciniec, and good friend Falco Sciulli. Dolly was a member of the former St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak as well as their Ladies of Charity. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas where she served as financial secretary. Dolly was also a past volunteer at Kane Regional of McKeesport, Auberle, McKeesport Hospital, McKeesport Meals on Wheels, and Palms Nursing Home. She enjoyed traveling, line dancing, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, as well as displaying a love for life in general. Dolly was previously employed by Dr. Carmine Durzo as an Orthodontic Assistant and Marraccini’s Supermarket in White Oak as a clerk. She is survived by her son Richard Tauber, Jr. of White Oak, Tim (Maggie) Tauber of Elizabeth Township, and daughter Judy (Bruce) Frost of Redondo Beach, California. Dolly is further survived by grandchildren Ivy (Christian) Tauber Godoy, Alder Herforth, Tara (Chris) Clark, Justin Tauber, and Daria (Jeremy) Matcho. Additional survivors include great-grandchildren Kael and Willow Herforth, Levi and Lily Clark, and Sioux Marchisio. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. Lamb, Jr. Chris was the loving partner of 25 years to Judy Whyel, also of Glassport. He is survived by his mother Judith Lamb of Buckeye, AZ, brothers Scott (Cheri) Lamb of Escondido, CA, and Thomas R. (Heather) Lamb III of Phoenix, AZ, and sister Shannon Mora of Phoenix, AZ. Further survivors include his loving partner Judy Whyel, her children Laura and Lynn, and grandchildren Nick and Marissa. He is further survived by nieces Megan Mora of San Francisco, CA, and Madison Lamb of Phoenix, AZ, as well as nephew Joshua Lamb of Phoenix, AZ. David Daniel “Frost” Foster, 49 of Clairton, formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022, at Canterbury Place. He was born in McKeesport on March 27, 1973, to the late David Daniel Pryor and Cynthia Louise (Foster) Kelley. He is survived by his daughter Brittany L. Foster of Clairton as well as his sons Colton David and Clayton Daniel. Further survivors include brothers Eric C. Foster of Pittsburgh and Adam J. Kelley of Clairton, stepfather Howard Kelley of Clairton as well as his past partner Dawn R. Anderson of Clairton. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his grandparents Dorothy and John Foster.

He enjoyed fishing, video games, listening to music (especially Metallica), and spending time with his family. He was employed by Water Ways, testing hoses for fire companies.

She was born in McKeesport on August 30, 1955 to the late Harvey and Margaret Gilbert. Cheryl was the loving wife of twelve years to William H. Bickerton. She is survived by her sons, John F. (Kimberly) Rimsky, of West Elizabeth, step-daughter, Jennifer Bickerton, of Springhill, Florida, sisters, Lola Dupin, of McKeesport, Fran Lickert, of Elizabeth, June (Gary) Bickerton, of Jefferson Hills, Sharon (Anthony) Giansante, of Hudson, Florida, Ellen Williams, of Elizabeth, Sherry (Rob) Shuba, of West Mifflin, brothers Dale (Marianne) Gilbert, of Elizabeth, Harvey Gilbert, of Glassport and grandchildren, Joey, Ashley, Johnny and Emily, many nieces and nephews and her loving dog Rusty. Cheryl was preceded in death by her first husband, John F Rimsky, Sr., and siblings Tina Anderson, Larry Gilbert and Wilma Williams, and her dog JoJo. Cheryl worked for the West Jefferson Hills School District in custodial maintenance, and known to be a workaholic. She enjoyed watching and supporting her grandchildren at all of their activities. He is survived by his wife Kristen as well as their daughter Ashley (Jon) Bouchard of Elizabeth Township and son Jonathan (Mariah Flores) Salhus Jr. of Glassport. Jack “Pap” Edward Gereshenski, 67 of Finleyville, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at his home. He was born in Charleroi on September 7, 1954, to the late George and Alma Cullen Gereshenski. Jack was the loving husband of 48 years to Cheryl (Williams) Gereshenski. He is survived by his wife Cheryl as well as their sons Raymond of New Eagle and Ronald (Heather) Gereshenski of Monongahela. Additionally surviving are his adopted grandchildren Dominic, Kayla (Cameron), Jacob (Hailey), Laurisa (Cody). Further grandchildren include Morgan and Carly, as well as a grandchild-in-law Casea. Jack is also survived by his great-grandchildren Gracie and Brooklyn. He is preceded in death by his adopted grandchild Tyler Gereshenski and daughter-in-law Mandy Gereshenski. Jack was a member of the US Army where he served during peacetime. He was also a member of the Dormont-Mount Lebanon Sportsman’s Club as well as Wright’s United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and quad riding. He will be remembered for being a fierce family protector who would always support those he loves without a moment’s hesitation. Loving father of seven beautiful children, Christopher Mains, of Glassport, Ricky Ingram, Jr., of Pitcairn, Deanna Ingram of Pitcairn, Paige Ingram, of McKeesport, Ellis Ingram, Brendan Ingram, and Timothy Ingram, of Elizabeth. Fiancé of Maran Geletko, of Elizabeth. Treasured brother of Russ (Aimee) Gasky, of Clearwater, FL, Tom Gasky, of Dravosburg, Rebecca Campano, of Lincoln, Amy (Pat) Fonner, of Liberty, Amanda Reynolds, of Oakvale, MS, Eric Fairbanks, of Glassport, and April Fairbanks, of Glassport. Beloved uncle of Louie, Damon, Mason, Liam, and Easton. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ricky was a former employee of Power Innovations in McKeesport, PA. His humor was unmatched and his quick wit filled his loved ones with laughter and joy. He loved to ride a Harley, and could often be found fixing cars and helping family with home improvement projects. He was inappropriate, loved a good time, loved his beard, and will be missed dearly. His beautiful life will live on in the eyes of his children, and in the funny stories that will be told for many years. She was born in Williamsburg, PA on March 1st, 1921, to the late Lemuel E. and Cora (Chamberlain) Evans. Sara was the loving wife of 44 years to the late Bernard L. Illig. She is survived by her daughter Sara A. (John) Fagan of Tarpon Springs, FL, and sons David L. Illig of West Mifflin and Paul L. (Lynn) Illig of Salisbury, NC. Further survivors include her grandchildren John, Sara, Patrick, and Rebecca, great-grandchildren John Connor, Tess, Kate, Emma, Evelyn, and Joseph, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews. Sara was preceded in death by her sister Gladys Berkheimer and brothers Harvey, Walter, and Eugene Evans. She was a member of the Dravosburg United Methodist Church, as well as the Women’s Club and food bank. She enjoyed painting, crossword puzzles, reading, and sewing. Naomi D. (King) Rosche, 86 of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, at her home. She was born in Lincoln Borough on April 27, 1935, to the late Francis and Helen (Gumbert) King. Naomi was the loving wife of 67 years to Ronald A. Rosche. She is survived by her husband Ronald as well as her daughter Mary Elizabeth (Ray) Hoffman and son Christopher M. Rosche. Further survivors include grandsons Mathew and David Hoffman. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents as well as brothers Thomas and Robert King. She was a member of the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies as well as the Elizabeth United Methodist Church.  She also spent 10 years on the South Allegheny school board, spending 8 of those years as president of the board. Elizabeth Marie “Lee” Kostelnik

Elizabeth Marie “Lee” Kostelnik, 88, of Dravosburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 12th, 2021. She was born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania on November 19th, 1933 to the late Peter and Anna Lepo Makay. Preceded in death by her loving husband John Michael “Timmy” Kostelnik. Also preceded in death by her brothers Michael, Paul, and Albert Makay, sisters Helen Patton, Irene Stipetic, Dorothy Cavicchia, and Eleanor Fallon. She is survived by her son, John M. (Sheri) Kostelnik, of Lancaster, California, and daughter, Sandra L. (David Mooney) Kostelnik, of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. Grandchildren, John Michael Kostelnik, Kevin Alan (Kate) Kostelnik, Kara Leigh (Nicholas) Kerr, and Michael Ryan Kostelnik. Great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Carrie, Ashley, Kennedy, Harper, and River, and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was a graduate of Duquesne High school, Class of 1952. Elizabeth, known to everybody as Aunt Lee, was a member of Dravosburg #2 Women’s Community Club and once served as president, a constable of elections, and said rosary at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church. She was deeply devoted to God, her family, and friends. She loved family get-togethers at her home, especially poolside during the summer. She loved animals and was an excellent cook, her stuffed cabbage and nut rolls were always a gift to her family and friends. Her laugh was infectious and she was always smiling and proud of her children and grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 5th at 10:00 am at the Church of St. Agnes, Parish of St. Thomas the Apostle, 622 Saint Agnes Lane., West Mifflin, PA 15122. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to St. Thomas the Apostle, 363 West 11th Ave., Homestead, PA 15102.
