THEODORE M. "BUD" SCHORR age 97, of West Mifflin, on August 16, 2019 at the home of his son. He was a son of the late Theodore and Irene (Manns) Schorr. Bud was retired from US Steel Duquense Work. A member of St. Joseph's Church, Duquense. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, writing to people and traveling. He proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II; husband of the late Mary Jane (Dougherty) Schorr; father of Janice Schorr of Salt Lake City, Utah and Paul (Amy) Schorr of West Mifflin; also five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; brother of Jerry Schorr of White Oak, Rene (late Jim) Eisenhuth of Boalsburg, PA, the late Alberta Schorr, late Walter Schorr, late Theresa (late Bob) Fontanese, late Dolores (late Joseph) McKenna and late Mary (late Thomas) McAraw. Theresa P. King, age 88, of West Mifflin passed away on August 16, 2019. She was born in McKeesport on Sept. 12, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Nellie (Opilowski) Pobojeski, and 13 brothers and sisters. She was retired from Equitable Gas Company after 34 years in billing. Irene M. Polakovic age 91, of West Mifflin on August 10, 2019. She was a daughter of the late Theodore “Frank” and Veronica (Lokay) Matola. Irene was a clerk typist for the government in WWII. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin and Ascension of Our Lord Church in Clairton. She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Christian Mothers where she was the vice president and program chair lady. A lector for 26 years, and a girl and boy scout leader. She was a member of Chee Chee Colo Club since its inception. One of the first two women to be on the Holy Trinity School Board and a graduate of Clairton HS class of 1946. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Francis “Pucki” Polakovic; mother of Stephanie (Edward) Glazar of N. Rosemary (Oeler) Shipe, born October 11, 1924, returned to the Lord on August 3, 2019.
Rosemary O. Shipe, née Oeler, 94 3/4 yrs., after nearly 44 years apart, is reunited with the love of her life, John J. "Jack" Shipe. Simul in aeteraum. Married just short of 20 years, they were blessed with 7 children. She attended Thompson Business School in McKeesport and worked as a clerk at USS Duquesne Works prior to marriage and raising a family.
A never-ending curiosity and wonder of the world, love of language, and card playing kept her sharp her whole life. She started the latter as a young girl, joining her mother's card club (her youth and her skill making her the least, well-liked player). High school Latin aided her cross-wording, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy passions to the end.

Victoria Jane Kwiatkowski, age 68, of Coraopolis, formerly of Sewickley, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019.
Daughter of the late Anthony J. and Isabelle H. (Kacala) Kwiatkowski, she was born a special angel. She did clerical work at a sheltered workshop for special needs people and was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne and St. James in Sewickley.

Marielania Bost, 76, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in UPMC Presbyterian. She was born Nov. 8, 1942, in West Mifflin, to the late Fred and Marguerite (Reagan) Wood Petrozza. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially swimming and hiking. She was a graduate of Duquesne High School, class of 1960. Cheryl (Moore) Nemerovsky age 62, passed away at Sycamore Estate in Duquesne on July 31, 2019 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Cheryl was born in Pittsburgh on June 11, 1957 to the late Harry Rudolph Moore and the late Patricia (Gordon) Moore. Cheryl was predeceased by her husband and soul mate, Mark Louis “Nemo” Nemerovsky. Cheryl is survived by her sister, Carol Bee Moore; her brother, Harry R. “J.R.” Moore and sister-in-law, Leeann Moore; sister-in-law, Becky Nemerovsky; nieces, Carrie Rost Brickman (Bryan) and Stacy Rost Noll (Ryan); nephew, Sean Harrison Moore; Mark's nieces, Kandice Lee (Leonard) and Kayla Williams (Ceasar); two great-nephews and four great-nieces; and Mark's four great-nieces and nephew. Cheryl was administrator and founding partner for 31 years of Sycamore Estate Personal Care Residence. Cheryl graduated in 1975 from Elizabeth Forward High School, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh school of Business, Duquesne University Paralegal Program and Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing; an RN and also EMT/Volunteer Treasurer of Duquesne EMS for 22 years. STAN A. HEBDA age 101, of Duquesne, on July 13, 2019 at home. A son of the late Vincent & Blanche (Fularz) Hebda, he was a retired Steelworker and former member of the former St. Stephen’s R.C. Church in McKeesport where he was an usher, member of the choir and their dart team. He loved to read, especially Westerns, singing, golf & dancing. He volunteered at Kane-McKeesport & was a lifetime member of the P.N.A. in McKeesport. One of his claims to fame was that he had a hole in one on August 30, 1974 on the #13 hole of 148 yds. at Butler’s Golf Course. He was also a lifetime member of the Carpenter’s Union & was in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to the late Margaret B. (Kochmar) Hebda.
