IRENE "ANGEL" McMANUS age 82, of Duquesne, on September 22, 2018, at home. She was born June 23, 1936 in Puritan, PA, a daughter of the late Steve and Sophie (Wasko) Budner. Irene was a former den mother for Cub Scout Pack #317 and enjoyed doing crafts. She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard McManus for 58 years; mother of Bernie McManus of North Versailles, Patrick (Kathy) McManus of North Huntington; grandmother of Michael (Molly) McManus, Jennifer (Justin) Dudek, Melissa (Chris) Sidick, Patrick (Amy) McManus, and Max McManus; also six great-grandchildren, Jaden, Julianna Dudek, Chloe McManus, Luke McManus, Carter Sidick, and Easton Sidick; sister of Edward Budner of Washington, PA, and William Budner of St. Louis; predeceased by six brothers and sisters; also surviving are nieces and nephews. STEPHEN A. “JUNIOR” HORVATH age 70, of West Mifflin, on August 28, 2018. He was the son of the late Steve A. and Regina (Wrzesniewski) Horvath. Junior was retired from Whemco as an electrician and formerly worked at US Steel, Duquesne Works. He was also a life member of the West Mifflin #2 Duquesne annex volunteer fire department with 48 years service, he had served as the assistant chief. Junior was a proud Vietnam War veteran serving in the Army. Beloved husband of 45 years to Nancy (Hathaway) Horvath; brother of Jeanette (Donald) Liskay of Moon Twp. And the late Robert “Fuzz” Horvath, Mary Ann Horvath, and the late Christian Horvath; uncle of Ian (Alyssa) Liskay and Zac Liskay; great-uncle of Paige Liskay. CLARENCE R. HAMROCK age 97, of West Mifflin, on August 28, 2018. He was a retired tow motor operator from Fisher Body in West Mifflin. He was a member of St. Agnes Church in West Mifflin. He was always tinkering and fixing things, especially cars, and proudly served his country in the Army in WWII in the first armored division, 81st recon division. Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Irene (Orenyak) Hamrock; survived by sons, Wayne (Lora) Hamrock, of Huron, OH and David (Sandie Reeber) Hamrock, of Gibsonia; and former daughter-in-law Gail; grandfather of Michael Hamrock, Angela and Ashley Hamrock; all his brothers and sisters are deceased.

Marion M. Rosko age 78 of Atlanta GA, formerly of Duquesne, on August 2, 2018. Marion enjoyed gardening, cooking, English History, and being with friends and family. She was a second mom to many people and was always ready with a casserole or a pot of soup to take to someone in need. She never met a stranger and had many friends of all ages. She was a beloved wife and mother. FRANCIS W. "BRAZ" BREZNAY age 84, of Duquesne, on July 3, 2018 at home. He was a son of the late Steve and Anna (Kish) Breznay. Braz was a retired boilermaker at US Steel Duquesne Works with 34 years service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, and was a past president of their Men's Club. He served on Parish Council, volunteered at Children's Hospital, volunteered with Meals On Wheels, and co-chaired the 100th anniversary of Holy Trinity Church. He proudly served in the army; he was stationed in Germany where he was awarded the Guardian of the Outpost of Democracy, serving in the 6th Infantry Regiment. He was also a valued employee of the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home for over 15 years. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing. (Curran) Denne age 90, of Duquesne, on June 27, 2018, surrounded by her children as they prayed and sang her favorite hymns of praise, entered eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior, at UPMC Mercy. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Thomas & Ann (Malone) Curran. Rosemary was the former treasurer of the City of Duquesne, succeeding her husband after his death.
