Rev. Charles "Pastor Chuck" Curtis Eagle, 64, of Brookville, Ohio, formerly of McKeesport, died Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was born September 4, 1953 in East Rainelle, WV and was the son of the late Walter Homer Eagle, Jr. and the late Leila Oneeda Eagle (Ward) Sheppard. Chuck was the Pastor of Brookville Community United Methodist Church and served many churches in Ohio and Pennsylvania. He is survived by sisters, Brenda Eversole of Dravosburg, Patricia (Thomas) Keener of Ruffsdale, Connie (Will) Harrison of Liberty Borough, and Sheila (Gary) Keener of North Versailles, brother, Murrell (Debra) Eagle of McKeesport, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his church family.

Merton Hersh, age 92, of McKeesport, died May 24, 2018. He was born in McKeesport on May 30, 1925 and is the son of the late Harry Hersh and the late Irene Einzig Hersh Stein. He was a WW II Army veteran with the 79^th Division, 313^th Infantry Regiment. He was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon with four Bronze Stars, the American Theater Campaign Ribbon, the Combat Infantry Badge, the WW II Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of Temple B’Nai Israel, the Allied War Veterans and a life member of the Jewish War Veterans and the Disabled American Veterans.  Merton graduated from the University of Pgh. in 1950 with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and then in 1952 from the University of Pgh. School of Business Administration with a Masters in Merchandising and Advertising. He is survived by many cousins and friends.
