He was born December 13, 1946 in McKeesport and was the son of the late George Raymond and Vivian Craig Motto and was the husband of the late Dian "Dee" Evans Motto. Raymond was a retired Crane man for US Steel Irvin Works and was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Liberty Borough Veterans Association.

Isadore Small, 93, of White Oak, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at UPMC East.  Born in Czechoslovakia, September 10, 1922, son of the late Samuel and Rayla Smilivitz.  Husband of the late Phyllis Bird Snyder Small, he is survived by his son, Steven Laib Small of White Oak, daughter, Rachel Dena Small of White Oak, and by 2 grandchildren, Akiba Small and Sara Small, both of White Oak.  He was a member of the Congregation Gemilas Chesed and Café Europa, a holocaust survivors group.  He was the owner of Phyllis’ Jeans and Apparel, and Phyllis’ 51 Market.  A graveside service will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the original Gemilas Chesed Cemetery, Center Street, Versailles Borough with Rabbi Moshe Russell officiating.  Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA  15132 is in charge of the arrangements.  Shiva will be observed at the home of Rachel Small, 1508 Fawcett Avenue, White Oak Monday through Thursday from 5-7 PM.  The family suggests contributions to the Congregation Gemilas Chesed, 1400 Summitt Street, White Oak, Pa  15131.
