She had worked for the former James Ryan Flowers. He was born January 10, 1950 in Greensburg and was the son of the late Thomas C. and Margaret Stafford Flanigan. Butch was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in West Newton and was also a member of the former St. Charles Roman Catholic Church of Sutersville. He was a member of the Sutersville Moose Lodge 1358, the Owls Club of Frank, UMBU of Blythedale, and was a social member of the Buena Vista Vol. Fire Co. He was a former member of Blythedale and Herminie Fire Companies. Butch is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley Coffer Flanigan, sisters, Nina (Carl) Dyer of Madison, Lauretta Stanley and Bernadine Flanigan (special friend, Chrissy Robinson) of Yukon, brother-in-law, John (Peggy) Coffer of Perryopolis, and many nieces and nephews.

Ronald Brian Frantish, age 60 of Wake Forest, N.C. passed away peacefully on October 15, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Kathryn Ringelstein Frantish; brother Roger (Gertrude) Frantish and sister Rhoda (Daniel) Wolfe, plus several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Frantish of Buena Vista, Pa.

Ron was of the Class of 1974 of Elizabeth Forward High School, graduated with honors from Carnegie-Mellon University and retired from IBM after 32 years of service as a senior systems engineer.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held November 4, 2017, at the Mt. Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, 2200 Buena Vista Rd., McKeesport, PA. 

Family will receive visitors at 10:00 a.m. in the Church Parlors with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Buena Vista Volunteer Fire Company #1,  3333  Fire Station St., Buena Vista, PA 15018 or the Punta Gorda Lions Club Foundation, PO Box 510915,  Punta Gorda,  FL 33951.

James G. Sepcic, 85, of Liberty Borough, died Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was born March 3, 1932 in Braddock and was the son of the late Stephen and Milka "Mildred" Krajacic Sepcich. He was a member of the Liberty Presbyterian Church, Veteran's of Foreign Wars, The US Navy Memorial Association, American Legion, D.A.V., V.F.W., Croatian Federation of America, and was a former Liberty Borough Volunteer Fire Fighter. James was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He served on the Battleship New Jersey. For his service, he received the National Defense Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the China Service Medal. He was retired from the US Steel Edgar Thompson Works. He was the loving husband of Peggy Page Comer Sepcic, devoted father of Laura Ann Mierow of Wauwatosa, WI, Christine Marie Napotnik of Gibsonia, Rebecca S. (Lee) Miller of Phoenix, AZ, Robert G. Neal and Stephen L. Neal of North Huntingdon, and James D. Neal of White Oak, compassionate "Pap Pap" of Aubrianna and Georgena Mierow, Adam Napotnik, Ryan Polito, Ashlee Miller, Robert G. Neal, Jr., and Stephen L. Neal, Jr., beloved brother of Elizabeth Basista of FL, and had many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
