Matushka Martha Marie Ermakov, 88, of McKeesport, died Sunday, October 15, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 23, 1929 in Olyphant, and was the daughter of the late John and Martha Russen Sweda. She was the wife of the late Archpriest Dimitri H. Ermakov. She was a member of Dormition of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church in McKeesport. Martha was a switchboard operator for the former Bell of Pennsylvania. She is survived by her daughters, Matushka Larissa D. (Mitred Archpriest Stephan P.) Romanchak of The Villages, FL, Matushka Juliane D. (Protodeacon Stephen) Howanetz of Olyphant, and Martha D. Martin of McKeesport, son, Archpriest Dimitri D. (Matushka Natasha) Ermakov of West Mifflin, sister, Vera Wasacz of San Francisco, CA, 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Marian (Snyder) Marcoff, age 79, of Finleyville, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital. She retired after 25 years as a tour guide and clerk typist for Round Hill Park in Elizabeth Twp. She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church where she was a former deacon and Sunday School teacher. A 1956 graduate of McKeesport High School, she most recently attended South Hills Bible Chapel. She was known to her family and friends for her wit, compassion, and her love of the Lord.

DONALD J. SLIVKA, 71, of Glassport died Oct. 14, 2017.

He is the son of the late Michael and Sally (Majzer) Slivka.  Don is survived by his girlfriend and companion, Gina Wawrzeniak; daughter Jennifer Slivka; son Mark D. Slivka; grandson Mark D. Slivka, Jr.; brother John (Linda) Slivka; nephews Jerry, John, Matthew and David and great nieces Zoe and Brooklyn. 

Don was a security guard for St. Moritz and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Funeral arrangements are by Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport.

John served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was an avid golfer and loved movies. He retired from the Pittsburgh Post office after 30 years of service. He is survived by his daughter, Linda White of Bunola, PA; son, Brian Rendulich of N. Huntingdon; grandchildren, Leonard White of Elizabeth, Aaron (Kristin Ruth) White of Carrick; brother, Judge (Jo) Rendulic of Henderson, Nevada; cousins, Carol Bernick of Forest Hills and her son Michael of N. Versailles, and Nancy (Guy) Lombardo of N. Huntingdon, also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Stanley and Eddie Rendulich and sisters; Wilma Cvetnic, Carol Monaghan, and Elaine Candelore.

Joan “Joanne” Steinkopf Sopko, 85, of Jefferson Hills passed away on Sunday October 15, 2017 at Baldwin Health Center.  She was born November 23, 1931 in McKeesport to the late Herman and Larue Nau Steinkopf. Joanne was the loving wife of the late Stephen M. Sopko who passed away in 2005. She is survived by sons, Stephen (Sandy) Sopko of Irwin, Michael (Laura) Sopko of Baldwin, Herman Sopko of Jefferson Hills; daughters, Bernice (Louis) Walsh of Clairton, Darlene Kelly of Speers, Suzie Krsul of Bethel Park, JoAnne (John) Makovich of Yukon, PA; grandchildren, Paulette, Joan, Tina, Corri, Bevelynn, Andrea, Mikey, Missy, Joey, Josh, Christina, Drew, Michael, Broc, Leita, Jesse, JD, Robbie, Scott; and 35 great-grandchildren.  Along with her parents and spouse, Joanne was preceded in death by son, John; brothers, William and Carl Steinkopf; and sisters, Jean Reigh and June Miller.  She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, previously a member of Turner’s in McKeesport and VFW Auxiliary in Bethel Park.  Joanne enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 11 am – 1 pm at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton, PA   15025.
