Pauline (Galley) Dworek, age 91 of Port Vue, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 2. Raised in Liberty Boro she was the daughter of the late Richard and Pauline (Potocsnak) Galley. Pauline is survived by her dedicated husband of almost 70 years who remained by her side during many blessed years of health and in the final days of illness. She is the loving mother to five children, deceased child Diane Mitchell, and surviving children Timothy (Cheri) Dworek, Thomas (Lee Ann Catalina) Dworek, Tammy (Joseph) Wright, and Theodore (Elaine) Dworek. She is the cherished grandma to Timothy Dworek, Tiffany (Kana) Moy, Maria Dworek, Ben Bartley, Bruce (Samantha) Bartley, Garret Wright, Chad Wright, Theodore J. Dworek, and Gabriella Dworek. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, in addition to many other nieces and nephews.

Ronald L. McKown Sr., age 90, of Buena Vista, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 at home. He was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and a Navy veteran having served during the Korean War. He retired as a machine operator at TMS International in Elrama. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren. Born November 22, 1935 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Robert and Catherine (Maley) McKown Sr. and husband of the late Betty A. “Dolly” (Werner) McKown. He is survived by his sons, James McKown of Buena Vista, Ronald L. (Mimi) McKown Jr. of Pittsburgh, Lonnie (Janice) McKown of Buena Vista, Michael McKown of New Eagle and Kurt Martin of North Versailles; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughters, Robin Ann Wilde and Betty Jean Bodzer; two great-grandsons; and numerous siblings. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 12 Noon in the chapel at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp., with Pastor Jeff Riker officiating. Anthony T. "Tony" Rebo, age 91 of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 2, 2026. He was born on July 26, 1934 in Jeannette, a son of the late Stanley Rebo and Ann Rudy Rebo. Tony was a member and former usher of St. Agnes Church, and he was a veteran of the United States Army. While in the Army, he pitched baseball for four years, and went on to receive offers from several Major League Baseball teams, including the Pittsburgh Pirates. Following his service in the Army, Tony worked as a machinist for Overmyer Mould Company. He then went on to earn his Master's Degree in math from Pittsburgh University. He later taught at both CCAC and Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center. In his free time, Tony enjoyed working out, and he took pride in his physical fitness. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta Rebo, one brother, Joe, and one sister, Sara. He is survived by one son, Anthony Rebo, one daughter Renee Coles (husband Henry), grandchildren Rebecca Banaszek (husband John), Robert Coles (wife Cora), Rylie Coles, and Sadie Coles, and great-grandchildren John, Reese, Robert, Isaac, Sampson, and Estelle. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Thursday, March 12, from 10 to 11 AM. A service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 11 AM. Gaetano “Guy” Romano

Gaetano “Guy” Romano peacefully passed on February 27, 2026 at the age of 102. Guy was the loving father of AnnaMaria (Marty) Ross and Mario (Debra) Romano. He was the proud grandfather of Angela (Chris) Migliozzi, Melissa (Craig) Bellomo, Michael (Lyndsay) Romano, and Kayla (Tony) Dunlap; great-grandfather of Vincenzo, Sophia, Natalie, and Santino. Guy was preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Caterina (Spinelli) Romano, his parents, and 14 siblings. 

At the age of 16, he opened a tailor shop in Agropoli, Italy, eventually becoming a master tailor. After he and Caterina married, they lived in Brazil for five years. An offer to pursue the American Dream and own a tailor shop in the United States was presented to him. He was very proud of his Italian heritage but took the chance for a new opportunity and to come to the U.S. and raise his family.
