Donald F. Uchnar, age 81, of McKeesport, died August 9, 2018, at home. Born July 2, 1937, in Braddock, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Birkosky) Uchnar and the husband of the late Viola M. "Bubba" (Cypher) Uchnar. Don was retired from the US Post Office, where he was a letter carrier, with 38 years of service. He was a US Marine veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Constance A. (Charneicki) Hill, age 80, formerly of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Baldwin Health Center. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton. Born February 22, 1938 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Chester Charneicki Sr. and the late Ann (Ulich) Charneicki and wife of the late Larry John Hill. She is survived by sister, Betty Lou Gasda of Liberty Borough; brother, Chester (Michele) Charneicki Jr. of Elizabeth; also, nieces and nephews. There was no visitation or service. Stephen J. Demko, 48, of Clairton died suddenly on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Pittsburgh, October 13, 1969, he was the son of Stephen and Norma Jean (Belcher) Demko. He was a self-employed contractor. Husband of Paula Demko, he is also survived by two sons, Stephen John Demko and Harley J. Demko; and a brother, Bruce Samino. All services were private. Arrangements were in charge of William S. Vincent C. Witkowski, 56, of West Mifflin died suddenly on Friday, August 3, 2018. Born in Braddock, April 20, 1962, he was the son of Florence (Czaplinski) and the late Henry R. Witkowski. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Raymond and Anthony Witkowski, and two sisters, Mary Ann Seibel and Bernadette Grimes. Vince was an employee of the maintenance department of Kennywood Amusement Park in West Mifflin. All services were private. Arrangements were in charge of William S. Skovranko Memorial Home.

Klement E. Segina, 80, of West Mifflin died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in Duquesne, November 30, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph S. and Irene A. (Polivka) Segina. Mr. Segina was a retired employee of the former U. S. Steel Corp., Duquesne Works, and the McKees Rocks Forging Company. He proudly served his country in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (Stout) Segina, he is survived by three sons, Gregory (Lisa) Segina, Michael (Kathy) Segina, and Jason (Heather) Segina, a brother, Joseph (Nancy) Segina; eight grandchildren, Katie Bisuti, Felicia Saket, Dillon Boggs, Emily Saxon, Connor Segina, Tyler Axon, Gunner Segina, and Ares Segina; and one great grandson, Braden Bisuti.

Per Mr. Segina's wishes, there will be no visitation and all services are private. Arrangements are in charge of William S. Skovranko Memorial Home.

 


Delbert "Pav" Ivan Pavlick

Delbert “Pav” Ivan Pavlick, 90, of Clairton, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.  He was born March 29, 1928 in Duquesne to the late Samuel and Mary Hollish Pavlick.  Delbert was a loving husband for 43 years to the late Edith A. Azzari Pavlick.  He is survived, and will be greatly missed, by his adoring daughters, Valerie Pavlick-Gnazzo of Clairton, Adrianne (Curtis) Pavlick-Miller also of Clairton, Michele (Claude) Sims of Port Vue; grandchildren, Zachary, Athena (Nathan), Jared, Xavier, Lennox (Garrett), Santeaun, Hunter; and brother, Samuel (Mabel) Pavlick of Florida; nieces and nephews.  Along with his parents and wife, Delbert was preceded in death by granddaughter, BreAnne; and sisters, Margaret Pearson & Ethel Pavlick. He was a proud veteran having served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Delbert was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Duquesne, was employed by the US postal service for 56 years, was an avid golfer, enjoyed softball, bowling, played football in the army while he was stationed in Japan, and was the basketball coach at St. Clare of Assisi for 37 years. In 2005, he won “PA’s Outstanding Older Worker” award which is a prestigious national award given to elder workers (only 1 per state) to acknowledge their years in the workforce. He was a proud and loving man who would help anybody at any time, especially his family.  Visitation will take place Friday August 10, 2018 from 3 – 9 pm at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton,  PA  15025. A service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:30 am followed by entombment at Lebanon Church Cemetery.  Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com

He retired after 30 years as an operating engineer for Dick Corporation in Pittsburgh. An Army veteran having served during the Korean War, he was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth. He was a member of Local 66 Operating Engineers and a member and Past Master of Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge 526 of Elizabeth. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers and nephews. A devoted family man, his family meant the world to him.

Robert S. "Rob" McKinley, age 46, of Pittsburgh and Bedford PA, unexpectedly passed away on his farm on August 6, 2018. He was born December 1971 in Reading PA, son of Judy (Jenny) McKinley and the late Robert “Bob” McKinley, grandson of Goldie and the late Walter “Bud” McKinley, and the late Jack and Mary Rose Jenny. He graduated from Norwin Senior High School in the class of ’90. While attending various colleges, he was making a name for himself as a young entrepreneur, having ran and/or owned multiple businesses by his 30’s. Most recently, Rob was working at Hydro Extrusions North America as a Senior Business Analyst. He was a member of the Bedford Elks, and a supporter of the Bedford PA Humane Society. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, collecting antique furniture, and driving fast cars. He was a caring, outgoing, and energetic man who was loved by many and will be missed by all. Rob is survived by his wife and partner of 23 years, Allison White-McKinley; his mother Judy McKinley; his sisters, Heather Grove and her husband, Don Grove, of Johnson City, TN, Kathleen McKinley and her partner, Nathan Botti, of Herminie, PA, and his brother Patrick “Butch” McKinley and fiancé Patricia Schuler of Dormont, PA; six beloved nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Daisy.
